The brush handle is made of 100% olive wood, and the brush itself is made of wild boar bristles.
Boar bristles are optimal for daily beard care, the bristles help distribute the natural oils/products found in the beard. Regular brushing revitalizes the skin under the beard and prevents a dry beard. Boar bristles lift away dust, dirt and particles, leaving a smooth, healthy, shiny and vital beard.
Before first use, new brushes should be washed well with warm soapy water. Do not leave the bristles soaked in soap. Rinse the brush thoroughly under running water immediately after use, otherwise soap residue that will damage the fine bristles may remain on the brush head, especially in the middle of the brush. Dry the brush by shaking out the remaining water and hang the brush with the bristles pointing down, preferably in a suitable holder. Do not use chemical cleaning agents to clean the brush.
Cleaning
Remove hair, dirt and dust from the brush by hand and/or using a comb. Fill a bowl with warm water and add a few drops of mild shampoo or soap. Dip the boar bristles in the water and swirl around. Avoid putting the base/bristle pad directly in the water as you want to avoid water remaining in the base. Rinse the brush generously with lukewarm water. Let the brush dry upside down on paper or a towel. Cleaning your brush regularly will keep your hair cleaner, shinier and the brush will last longer. Happy brushing!
