The Pike Brothers 1937 Roamer Vest is a modern homage to the original "Elephant Skin" fabric, which dates back to the Industrial Revolution in the late 1800s. This extremely durable and comfortable fabric was originally used by tradesmen such as welders, carpenters and mechanics. Although the fabric is made from 100% cotton, it has the same durability and properties as genuine leather.

The construction of the vest makes it both durable and resistant to wear and tear, and it can even withstand welding sparks. It is made in Turkey with fabric produced to the same standards and formula as over a century ago, in Germany. This ensures that the garment remains true to its traditional workwear roots and can withstand the most demanding conditions.
